Your Leaders


Beaver Scout Leader

Koko joined Beavers in 2010 and became a leader after enjoying the Group's bi-annual Family Camp. Koko took a year out when her son was born. Koko recently completed her Scout training and has been awarded the Wood Badge.


Assistant Beaver Scout Leader

Keema joined the 52nd Reading Scout Group in 1994 as parent helper/on Exec. She was Beaver Scout Leader for over 15 years. In early 2018 she has decided that it is time to stand back and pass the leadership reins onto Koko.


Assistant Beaver Scout Leader

Chilali joined the 52nd as a Beaver and moved up through the sections. As an Explorer Scout (Young Leader) she returned to Beavers for 4 years before going away to University. Chilali has returned to 52nd Reading at the end of 2017 and has started her Adult Leader training.


Group Section Assistant

Carol has been a leader with the 52nd for over 35 years when the Beaver Section started in 1982. Both of her sons were at the 52nd as Cubs and Scouts. Beavers did not become an official section of the Scout Association in the United Kingdom until 1st April 1986.

Section Assistant

Kenda joined the Beaver Leader Team in 2016 when her youngest child joined the 52nd Group. She has children in Cubs, Scouts and her eldest, Explorer-aged son helps with another section in the Group. Kenda and her family enjoy the Group Family Camps.


Section Assistant

Tama joined the 52nd Beavers at end of 2016 after enjoying Scouting in her home county of Gloucestershire. Tama is studying at Reading University to be a Primary School Teacher.

Young Leader

Skah joined the Beaver Leader team in April 2017 as an Explorer Scout (Young Leader). Skah is currently a member of the Reading Rockhopper Explorers and has been with the 52nd Scout Group since starting as a Beaver.


Young Leader

Wapi joined the 52nd Beaver team as an Explorer Scout Young Leader in May 2017, after helping at the Youlbury Family Camp in September 2016. Wapi is currently a member of our Reading Rockhopper Explorer Unit.

Tallulah joined the 52nd Beaver team as a Young Leader in September 2017. Tallulah has been a Beaver, Cub and Scout with the Group.
